• $675,000.00 for a woman whose pelvis and arm were fractured when the driver of a car in which she was riding lost control, crashing into a tree.
• $600,000.00 for a woman who suffered a herniated disk in her neck when her car was rear-ended by a beverage truck. The woman had not yet had her operation, making this the largest verdict for an unoperated herniated disc yet rendered in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.
• $600,000.00 against the United States Postal Service (USPS) for the negligence of one of its drivers, who pulled out from a stop sign in front of a motorcycle. The motorcyclist suffered multiple fractures and third degree burns to his left leg.
• $500,000.00 obtained for a bus passenger who required cervical laminectomy and fusion surgery following an injury caused by the bus driver falling asleep at the wheel. The bus crossed the center line and struck a car head on.
• $500,000.00 against a negligent driver who hit our client’s car head on, fracturing her leg, which was the maximum amount allowed by available insurance coverage.
• $450,000.00 verdict issued to a man who suffered knee and back injuries when his van was rear-ended by a United States Postal Service truck.
• $400,000.00 obtained for a man involved in a tractor-trailer underride accident. The man suffered head injuries when his car passed under the trailer, which stretched across the road.
• $230,000.00 for a woman who was rear-ended by a negligent driver, suffering a neck injury with persistent tingling in her arm.
• $225,000.00 award for a woman whose arm and foot were broken in a head-on collision.
• $220,000.00 on behalf of a woman who required arthroscopic surgery to repair her knee injured in an automobile collision.
